About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Engineering Product Documentation Control Specialist to oversee all engineering product documentation including drawings Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and Bills of Materials (BOMs). The ideal candidate will have direct experience with Windchill PLM and a passion for ensuring accuracy and efficiency in documentation processes.

What You Will Do:

• Manage the creation revision and maintenance of engineering documentation (drawings ECNs BOMs) using Windchill PLM.

• Ensure compliance with company standards ISO/ASME documentation practices and engineering best practices.

• Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to gather review and update technical documents to align with design and project requirements.

• Develop and implement documentation workflows that optimize efficiency minimize errors and maximize productivity.

• Maintain the Windchill PLM system ensuring data integrity smooth operation and troubleshooting issues as needed.

• Provide training and guidance to team members on documentation standards Windchill usage and best practices.

• Conduct regular audits of documentation to ensure accuracy completeness and compliance with internal standards and regulations.

• Communicate documentation changes and updates clearly to relevant stakeholders.

• Generate documentation-related reports for management review.

What You Need:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical Electrical Industrial) Manufacturing or a related field.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in engineering documentation management or product lifecycle management (PLM).

• Hands-on experience with Windchill PLM.

• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD SolidWorks PCAD Altium) and understanding of integrations with PLM systems.

• Familiarity with documentation standards and practices (ISO ASME).

• Strong knowledge of Engineering Change Control processes.

• Excellent problem-solving skills attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Proven ability to collaborate with engineering manufacturing quality supply chain and cross-functional teams.

• Strong organizational and project management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint).

• Experience training and mentoring team members.

Our good faith estimate for the salary for this position is $90000-$120000. Exact compensation may vary based on skills experience and other factors.

This position requires on-site presence at Spellman High Voltage Headquarters in Hauppauge NY.
