We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Controller Intern to support our Project Managers across a wide range of project delivery activities. This internship offers hands-on experience in project governance reporting and process improvement providing a strong foundation for a career in project management.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Project Managers in managing scope cost schedule resources change and risk across various projects.
- Gather data and contribute to cost schedule and risk reporting under guidance.
- Support governance processes by ensuring project documentation aligns with internal standards and procedures.
- Assist project managers to maintain compliance and quality control including implementation of the STEP process.
- Collaborate with project teams to understand governance requirements and support integration of project management methodologies with STEP our Group management system.
- Assist in providing support to project teams facing challenges under the supervision of the Project Manager.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Project/Construction Management Infrastructure and Project Management (IPM) Engineering or a related field.
- Strong interest in project management data analysis and process improvement.
- Basic understanding of project management principles (scope cost schedule risk change management) is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint); familiarity with project management tools such as MS Project or Deltek is an advantage.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools including digital automation solutions and internal systems like STEP for internal governance compliance.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to take initiative under guidance.
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude toward identifying and supporting improvements.
