Educators Rising a division of PDK International is looking for a dynamic Outreach Sales Coordinator to manage accounts create relationships gain new leads follow-up on existing accounts and increase communications efforts for our Educators Rising programs and curriculum.
The Outreach Sales Coordinator is a coordinator position that reports directly to the National Director of Outreach & Partnerships who will work with the Outreach Sales Coordinator to execute the goals of the department.
This is a 100% remote position. A laptop will be provided to you during onboarding. You are expected to be online during our business hours that align with the Eastern Time Zone regardless of your time zone.
The Position:
This is an exciting time for PDKs Educators rising with growth in the interest from districts and states on our grow your own educator pathway initiatives our commitment to diversity in education and our efforts to inspire middle school high school and collegiate preservice candidates into education careers. We need someone as a hands-on team member who will help us scale our impact in the education community.
Primary Duties:
- Make outbound calls to contacts to secure curriculum sales.
- Maintain excellent and consistent communication with clients.
- Provide customer service to clients which includes follow-up.
- Support the National Director of Outreach & Partnerships to meet or exceed revenue targets and KPI goal.
- Build and maintain client profiles in a CRM.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with state and district representatives through exceptional emotional intelligence and customer service skills. This includes engaging partners and delivering virtual or in-person meetings and presentations.
- Establish and grow a customer base of K12 districts and schools and maintain records in the lead funnel database.
- Employ effective consultative negotiation techniques including pre-call planning effective opening and productive questioning strategies that lead to a close.
- Stay abreast of the industry space through market and competitive market and landscape analysis with an eye toward new opportunities.
- Maintain expert product knowledge around the Educators Rising resources/support the education industry and factors influencing the market environment.
- Travel to meet with partners exhibit and/or present at conferences as deemed safe under COVID guidelines. Travel is about 10% of this position.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
- 2 years of B2B sales experience
- 2 years of CRM experience preferably Hubspot or Salesforce.
- Bachelors degree commensurate work experience.
- Experience with the sales process and lead prospecting acquisition qualifying and conversion. Includes experience with outbound calling approach and demonstrated ability to recognize underlying hesitations and overcome concerns.
- Exceptional communicator verbal and written.
- Proven track record of excelling in a fast-paced work environment and managing time effectively.
- Confident assertive and goal oriented.
- Exceptional communicator verbal and written.
- Exceptional emotional intelligence compassion and self-awareness combined with strength of conviction and steel in the face of adversity. Oh and humor too.
Preferred:
- 2 years sales experience in K12 education sales market.
- Demonstrated understanding of school district and state education agency sales cycle budget process and purchasing process.
- Ability to open doors for new partnerships.
Compensation:
Educators Rising is prepared to offer a $45K to $50K as a base compensation for the role depending on experience as well as a competitive uncapped commission structure that can allow commissions to exceed the base salary with an anticipated annual salary of $70-80000 including base and commission addition we offer a generous 403(b) PTO and health benefits.
