Job Description

This is a part-time credit-based position. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Riverland Community College a member of the Minnesota State system and the Minnesota College Athletic Conference (MCAC) seeks a part-time Assistant Womens Basketball Coach. This position supports the Head Coach in developing and administering all aspects of the womens basketball program including practice competition recruitment and student-athlete support.

Salary Range

Compensation is based on experience and qualifications.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.

• One (1) year basketball coaching experience OR three (3) years of basketball playing experience.

Preferred Qualification

• Associates degree or higher.

• One (1) year basketball coaching experience.

• Two (2) to four (4) years of college-level basketball playing experience.

• Strong communication leadership and organizational skills.

• Bilingual/multilingual fluent in Spanish Karen Karenni Somali Pohnpeian French Nuer Anuak or other languages that reflect our student body workforce and communities.

• Demonstrated experience working with multicultural and underserved populations.
