Job Description
Columbia Woodlands is currently seeking a friendly professional and detail-oriented Guest Services Specialist to join our this role youll be the face of our resort providing warm hospitality and exceptional service to our guests from check-in to check-out. Youll also play a key role in coordinating with various departments to ensure each guest enjoys a seamless and memorable experience during their stay.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests upon arrival with professionalism warmth and enthusiasm
- Assist with guest check-in/check-out processes and help with luggage as needed
- Deliver meals and beverages to guests in cabins or common areas
- Provide accurate information about the property dining options and on-site activities
- Record and process food and beverage orders using the POS system
- Prepare check-in materials welcome folders and special request items
- Respond to phone calls emails and in-person inquiries promptly and courteously
- Perform routine property checks to ensure guest satisfaction and safety
- Coordinate with housekeeping grounds kitchen and administrative staff to ensure smooth operations
- Handle service requests and guest concerns with professionalism and efficiency
- Promote and up-sell packages experiences and resort offerings
- Maintain a positive energetic attitude and represent the Columbia Woodlands brand
- Support management with additional tasks and special projects as needed
Requirements and amp; Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in hospitality guest services or a related field (resort or hotel experience preferred)
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in computer systems including reservation and POS platforms
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Positive team-oriented attitude with a genuine passion for helping others
- Comfortable working outdoors and in nature-focused settings
- Flexible availability including evenings weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform tasks that may require standing or walking for extended periods
