Job Summary
Burger Rehabilitation Systems Inc. has provided therapy services since 1978.
We currently seek an exceptional and experienced State Board Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant/Hand Therapist to join our rehab team in Folsom in a part or full-time position.
We are specifically looking for someone with a California Occupational Therapy Assistant license and some experience in hand therapy to work with our Occupational Therapist treating hands and upper extremities.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and implements treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist (OT) to help patients recover from hand wrist or arm injuries and conditions
- Assist with exercises fit patients for splints monitor progress and teach patients self-care techniques to improve fine motor skills and function for daily activities
- Work with the OT to help patients regain strength movement and independence after trauma or illness
