Job Description
AECOM is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aviation Program Manager to oversee and coordinate various airport projects and programs in Honolulu. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in airport operations project management and stakeholder engagement. This role requires excellent organizational communication and leadership skills to ensure the successful execution of airport initiatives.
The Program Manager will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Develop and manage airport programs and projects from inception to completion ensuring they meet budget timeline and quality standards.
- Coordinate with various departments including operations maintenance security and customer service to ensure seamless program implementation.
- Liaise with external stakeholders including airlines government agencies contractors and vendors to facilitate project progress and resolve issues.
- Monitor and report on program performance identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations standards and best practices in airport operations and project management.
- Prepare and present regular updates and reports to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Manage program budgets resources and schedules effectively to achieve project goals.
- Lead and mentor a team of project managers and support staff fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Qualifications :
Minimum Requirements
- BA/BS in relevant field 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Preferred Requirements
- A masters degree Professional Engineer (P.E.) and/or CCM certification is preferred
- 10 years of experience in airport operations or program management
- Experience with managing multiple program delivery methods such as Design-Bid-Build (DBB) Design-Build (DB) Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) Progressive Design-Build (PDB) etc
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and programs in an airport environment of $10M or more in contract value
- Strong knowledge of FAA regulations airport safety standards and industry best practices
