Job Description

Role Summary

Location: Riga
Department: MS Operations
Job Type: Full-Time
Work Mode: On-site

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing payroll accurately and on time ensuring compliance with local tax laws and labor regulations and maintaining precise payroll records. You will collaborate closely with HR Finance and external partners to manage payroll accounting and reporting processes.

Your Responsibilities

  • Accurately prepare and process end-to-end payroll for clients in compliance with statutory and internal policies.
  • Ensure proper calculation and recording of payroll deductions benefits bonuses and tax withholdings.
  • Maintain and reconcile payroll accounts in the general ledger.
  • Generate and submit statutory reports (e.g. social security tax declarations etc.).
  • Assist in audits by preparing payroll-related documents and reconciliations.
  • Address and resolve employee payroll inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with HR for personnel data updates (e.g. new hires terminations salary changes).
  • Ensure timely payments to tax authorities pension funds and insurance providers.
  • Continuously improve payroll processes and support digitalization/automation initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Human Resources or a related field.
  • Minimum of 24 years of experience in payroll processing and accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll regulations labor laws and taxation.
  • Proficiency in payroll software (e.g. SAP HR).
  • Advanced MS Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems.
  • High level of accuracy confidentiality and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with multinational payrolls or Shared Service Center environments.
  • Certification in payroll or HR (e.g. CPP PHR) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with digital payroll platforms and automation tools.
