PRISM III Lesson Plan Creation
(Elementary Grades 4-5 ELA)
Description: The PRISM III Lesson Plan Creation for Decodables will generate lesson plans for decodables that will be utilized to support CKLA implementation. Lesson plans will be created using the Hill for Literacy Decodable Lesson Plan Template. Lesson plans will be created for the following decodables series:
- The Alba Series
- Saddleback Decodables
- Fundations Decodables
- Dandelion Series
- Additional Books as determined by each building
Team members will report to Louise DeSisto K-8 Director of ELA/Literacy regarding this offering.
Working Time/Modality: Up to 50 Hours between October 2025 and December 2025 which will include mostly asynchronous work and two check-ins with Louise DeSisto before beginning and at the end. Dates for these check-ins will be mutually agreed upon and determined at a later time.
Requirements:
Current assignment that is responsible for implementation or supporting the Grades 4-5 ELA curriculum including the following roles:
- Grades 4-5 Classroom Teacher EL Teacher SPED teacher
- Instructional Coach or ELL Coach responsible for supporting ELA Curriculum implementation in grades 4-5
Compensation: up to 50 hours or a total of $2000 per person (based on the number of teachers participating). Stipend paid as one sum in January after all lessons are created. All work must be completed by January 1 2026.
