Job Description
A dynamic and client-focused regional law firm is seeking an experienced litigation Attorney to join its team. The firm specializes in civil defense litigation with practice areas that include insurance defense construction law and employment law. Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will have experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Insurance Defense
- Construction Litigation
- Employment Law
- Premises Liability
- Liability Defense
- Commercial Litigation
This position offers the possibility and flexibility of remote work for the right candidate competitive compensation and the opportunity to handle complex and impactful cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of civil defense matters from inception to resolution.
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings motions and briefs.
- Represent clients in court hearings depositions mediations and trials.
- Communicate effectively with clients opposing counsel and court personnel.
- Develop case strategies and provide sound legal advice.
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Active bar membership in good standing.
- A minimum of 4 years of civil litigation experience.
- Strong legal research writing and oral advocacy skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining high productivity and responsiveness.
