EYs Supply Chain & Operations (SC&O) practice supports clients across different domains: Supply Chain Procurement Operational Excellence (both in Manufacturing and Services Organizations) and Smart this role as consultant your main focus will be on Procurement.

The opportunity - What future are you building towards

In Procurement we help leading companies with for example their Procurement operating model strategy development strategy implementation sustainable sourcing or a spend analysis.

• As a consultant your role will be to lead a sub project within client engagements. You will work independently as well as in teams at our clients supporting them with improving their business performance. You will use your quantitative and qualitative analytical skills to help structure and analyse the problems of the client and report the findings and results.

• Drawing on your knowledge skills and experience you will start to build valued relationships with external clients and internal peers.

• You will play an active role and contribute to the EY SC&O team internally by developing project proposals solutions trainings and thought leadership.

As a (Senior) Consultant youll balance internal and external responsibilities comprising client business development support operational and personal development.

• Build maintain and strengthen relationships to increasingly become a trusted point of contact within Procurement

• Delivering Procurement projects for industry-leading clients in and outside the Netherlands within a multi-disciplinary team

• Deliver solutions for complex and existing challenges in the field of Procurement (e.g. Sustainability regulations and compliance or spend analysis and cost optimization)

• Contribute to or lead a workstream within a project and be capable of managing activity to complete deliverables within your remit

• Contribute to and be an active member of a core project team often working with others from different parts of EYs world

• Contribute to the development of proposals to showcase some of our leading practices

• Maintain a personal development program to continually enhance your technical and consulting skills

• Increasingly grow your people leadership experience through leading as part of client and internal teams

Job requirements Where do you start if you want to change the world

• 2-5 years work experience in a Procurement related environment (Consulting or business).

• A masters degree preferably in the field of Business Operations management or Supply Chain Management.

• An analytical and a structured way of working you are strong in conceptual thinking and you have a great drive and are enthusiastic.

• Proactive and energetic with innovative qualities that enable high quality work to be delivered often in relatively short timeframes.

• Collaborative team player with the capability to work within cross-functional teams collaborating with colleagues from different countries and departments to achieve common goals

• Results oriented focused on achieving high quality value to clients and continuously striving for excellence.

• Proficiency in project management to handle multiple tasks simultaneously ensuring deadlines are met and clients are kept informed.

• Fluent language skills in English & Dutch.

Recruitment procedure How can you prepare for a long life together

The selection procedure exists in general out of 3 interview rounds and/or Business case. An (online) assessment an pre-employment screening will also be part of the process.
