Job Summary
Position: Physical Therapy Assistant(PTA) - Long Term Care (LTC)
Start Date: 10/6/2025
Duration: 13 weeks
Location: St. Louis MO 63136
Shift Type/Shift Times/Hours/Day: Days 8
Shift Notes: 8 hr days float to Aspen 40 GWW
Weekend Requirements: Potential

PTAs implement components of patient care obtain data related to the treatments provided and collaborate with the PT to modify care as necessary. PTAs assist the physical therapist in the treatment of individuals of all ages from newborns to people at the end of life.
- Help patients stretch and exercise certain muscle groups
- Read the instructions from the Physical Therapist
- Work directly with the Physical Therapist to assist patients
- Speak with families to find the best at-home techniques
- Keep physical therapy clean and organized
- Move patients from wheelchairs or walkers to the physical therapy area
- Complete administrative tasks like scheduling appointments and filing paperwork
- Teach patients techniques like balance training
- 1 year of PT experience - REQUIRED
- LTC or Rehab Experience - Required
- PTA -license
- BLS
