These products enable customers across Computer Semiconductor Wireless Automotive Storage Communication and Quantum industries to accelerate innovation with higher quality and are seeking Senior Software Engineers to join our Power Applications & Measurements this role you will design and implement advanced software features for Oscilloscope-based Power Applications. You will work closely with the Software Architect Product Planners and Hardware/FPGA teams to transform requirements into reliable scalable and user-friendly applications.
This is a hands-on engineering role where you will contribute to the full development cycle - from measurement algorithms and hardware/software integration to data visualization and GUI (WPF). Exposure to AI/ML techniques for data analysis and measurement enhancements will be considered a strong plus.
- Develop and maintain high-quality application code using C# C and WPF.- Implement measurement algorithms for power analysis waveform evaluation harmonics switching behavior and compliance testing.- Build intuitive and performance-optimized UI components for engineering workflows.- Apply AI/ML techniques to improve data visualization anomaly detection or measurement automation (where applicable).- Collaborate with hardware and FPGA engineers for scope data integration.- Optimize software for real-time performance accuracy and scalability.- Participate in design/code reviews and contribute to architectural discussions.- Debug troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues.
- Work in a highly collaborative international R&D environment.
Essential:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Computer/Electrical Engineering or related field.- 4 9 years of software development experience.- Strong proficiency in C# C and WPF for desktop applications.- Experience in measurements waveform analysis or power-related applications.- Awareness of AI/ML use cases in measurement software or data analysis.- Solid understanding of multithreading performance optimization and data handling.- Knowledge of hardware/software integration (instrumentation APIs drivers or data acquisition).
- Strong debugging problem-solving and teamwork skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with oscilloscopes or test & measurement instruments.- Familiarity with power electronics concepts (efficiency harmonics switching devices).- Hands-on experience using AI/ML frameworks or integrating AI-based features into applications.- Proficiency in Microsoft Visual Studio and modern development practices.- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies Git Jira Confluence.
- Test-driven development (TDD) or automated testing experience.
