Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Chaplain to provide spiritual care and emotional support to our residents their families and staff. The Chaplain plays a vital role in promoting well-being respect and dignity while accommodating the diverse spiritual and cultural needs within our home.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide pastoral care counseling and emotional support to residents families and staff.

• Lead worship services prayer sessions and memorials as appropriate.

• Respect and support residents diverse faiths beliefs and cultural traditions.

• Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to support holistic resident care.

• Offer grief support and spiritual guidance during times of illness transition or loss.

• Organize and coordinate religious/spiritual programs services and volunteers.

• Maintain confidentiality and ensure sensitivity in all interactions.

Qualifications:

• Ordination or certification in chaplaincy pastoral ministry or spiritual care (required).

• Membership with a recognized spiritual care or chaplaincy association is an asset.

• Experience providing pastoral care in healthcare long-term care or community settings.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds with respect and inclusivity.

• Demonstrated empathy integrity and professionalism.
