JOB OVERVIEW

Ontario Power Generation (OPG) is looking for a dynamic strategic and results-driven professionals to join our team in the role of Winter 2026 Co-Op Student to start in January 2026.

Commercial Operations and Regulatory Affairs: The Commercial Operations and Regulatory Affairs unit at OPG manages electricity sales contracts and customer relationships while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. This team supports OPGs business goals by optimizing commercial activities and maintaining strong relationships with regulators and stakeholders.

We are looking for students enrolled in one of the following programs:

  • Supply Chain Management
  • Purchasing

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Contribute to projects aligned with your field and career interests applying classroom knowledge to practical assignments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Learn and adapt to new tools technologies and processes relevant to the industry.
  • Take ownership of tasks support daily operations and seek mentorship for professional growth.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently enrolled as a full-time student at a recognized college or university majoring in one of the following disciplines:
    • Supply Chain Management
    • Purchasing
  • University or College minimum 1st year completed
  • Returning to full-time studies after the work term or require the placement to graduate.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 70% (unofficial transcript is required).
