Mechanical engineering is essential to the success of our projects in the Food & Beverage sector where precision compliance and reliability are non-negotiable. As a Mechanical Engineer III you will lead the design and integration of HVAC and mechanical utility systems that support hygienic efficient and code-compliant manufacturing environments. Your expertise will directly contribute to the performance and safety of facilities that produce consumable goods at scale.
Youll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver mechanical solutions tailored to the unique demands of food-grade processing packaging and clean utility systems. This position offers the opportunity to influence project outcomes from concept through construction while advancing sustainable design practices and supporting operational excellence in regulated environments.
Core Activities
Qualifications :
Required
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering (mechanical focus) from an ABET-accredited program.
- 5 years of relevant experience in HVAC and mechanical systems design.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in good standing.
- Experience working in an AEC firm environment.
- Proficiency in Revit AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
PreferredĀ
- Experience in Life Sciences Food & Beverage or GMP manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with codes and standards (ASHRAE SMACNA ISPE FDA ISO NFPA OSHA).
- LEED WELL or other sustainability credentials.
- Experience with field surveys plumbing design and troubleshooting mechanical systems.
- Knowledge of Revit plugins (e.g. Enscape Unifi) and parametric tools (Dynamo Grasshopper Rhino).
