Clinical Shift Schedule: Tues Thu 8:00a 5:00p (3 days/week)

PATIENT INFORMATION

Patient Demographics: Adults

Patient Volume/Census: Approximately 20 patients/day

Case Mix: Pain management patients (chronic and acute)

FACILITY INFORMATION

EMR System: Epic

Office Equipment Available: Standard clinical equipment

Specialty Backup Available: Physician onsite Fridays

Support Staff Available: Nursing and administrative staff

Reason for Coverage: Supplemental coverage

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

Hospital Privileges Required: Yes

Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 60 days

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

Pain medicine interventions including injections and neuromodulation

Follow-up care and medication management

Development of additional treatment plans

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses: Active North Carolina license (Required)

Board: Board Certified in Pain Management

DEA: Active DEA Certification (Required)

Certifications: BLS and ACLS (Required)

Experience: Minimum 2 years in Pain Management

Other Qualifications: Training and support provided by onsite physician

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide clinical pain management services including evaluations follow-ups and medication management

Perform pain medicine interventions such as injections and neuromodulation

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for chronic and acute pain patients

Collaborate with onsite physician for training and guidance on advanced pain management techniques

Document patient care accurately in the Epic EMR system
