About the Team
The Platform Innovation team drives the strategy launch and scaling of DoorDashs emerging initiatives within its white-label restaurant business. We partner cross-functionally to deliver seamless onboarding experiences and scalable solutions that delight our restaurant partners and set them up for long-term success.
About the Role
DoorDash is seeking a Launch Specialist to onboard restaurant merchants and ensure they have an exceptional experience throughout their lifecycle on our platform. This role involves extensive travel across your region and the U.S. to directly engage with merchants implement solutions and provide training. Youll collaborate closely with our Sales Account Management Operations Product and Analytics teams while reporting to the Manager of Launch and Product Ops within our Platform Operations organization.

- Interface directly with restaurant merchants to improve their onboarding and overall platform experience.
- Create and execute onboarding strategies that provide a seamless and delightful merchant experience.
- Perform hands-on work with hardware setup and troubleshooting while learning the ins-and-outs of DoorDash software configuration.
- Develop merchant-facing training materials to encourage staff understanding efficiency and adoption.
- Deliver in-person and virtual training sessions for restaurant staff on effectively using new platforms.
- Identify opportunities to streamline merchant workflows encourage adoption and maximize revenue potential.
- Adapt quickly to evolving environments achieving immediate results while helping shape the companys direction.
- Partner cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to ensure successful merchant launches and continuous improvements.
Were Excited About You Because
- You hold a Bachelors degree or have equivalent relevant work experience.
- You have 5 years of experience in hospitality restaurant management or systems implementation.
- You bring strong attention to detail and the ability to complete tasks accurately effectively and on time.
- You excel at both internal and external customer support demonstrating professionalism and empathy.
- You have proven experience working cross-functionally with diverse teams (Sales Ops Product Analytics).
- You are proactive adaptable and thrive at the lowest level of detail ensuring execution excellence.
- Spanish fluency is a strong plus.

- This position is partially remote partially in-office and heavily travel-based (frequent site visits within your region and nationwide).
