About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Project Coordinator with 1 3 years of experience in the aerospace and defense manufacturing industry. The role involves coordinating project activities supporting cross-functional teams ensuring the timely execution of deliverables and maintaining compliance with industry quality and regulatory standards.
- Assist Project Managers in planning scheduling and monitoring project activities
- Coordinate with internal teams including R&D Engineering Production Purchase Quality and Stores to ensure smooth project execution.
- Track project milestones deliverables and timelines updating stakeholders on progress.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation including reports minutes of meetings risk registers and compliance records.
- Support in managing procurement schedules vendor coordination and material follow-ups.
- Ensure adherence to AS9100 / defense industry quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Highlight project risks delays or resource constraints and assist in resolution.
- Organize review meetings and ensure effective communication among stakeholders.
- Prepare MIS reports dashboards and project status updates for management.
Requirements
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor s degree in engineering or related field.
1 3 years of experience in project coordination within the aerospace/defense manufacturing industry.
Strong knowledge of MS Office MS Project (or equivalent project management tools).
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes supply chain workflows and quality standards in aerospace/defense.
Excellent organizational communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
Exposure to ERP systems.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma methodologies.
Certification in Project Management (CAPM/Prince2/PMI-ACP) will be an added advantage.
