Job Description
Eddie Stobart are currently looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join their growing team in Coventry. The role is based on a Co-op site and will involve store deliveries RDCs Warehouses and can involve manual handling drop and swaps and general trunking.
Shifts available:
Thursday -Monday 03:00am
Thursday-Sunday 02:00am
Thursday-Monday 06:00am
Thursday-Monday 12:00pm
Tuesday-Saturday 17:00pm
Saturday -Wednesday 21:00pm
Tuesday-Saturday 22:00pm
Wednesday-Sunday 23:00pm
Friday-Tuesday 19:00pm
Friday-Tuesday 23:00pm
Salary:
- Mon-Fri Days - 15.00 per hour (Including Meal allowance and Tier payment)
- Mon-Fri Night Shift - 16.30 per hour (Including Meal allowance and Tier payment)
- Saturday and Sunday Day Shift - 18.00 per hour (Including Meal allowance and Tier payment)
- Saturday and Sunday Night Shift - 18.50 per hour (Including Meal allowance and Tier payment)
- Bank Holidays - 18.81 per hour (Including Meal allowance and Tier payment)
Qualifications :
- 6 months HGV Class 1 experience.
- You should hold a valid HGV 1/CE Licence DCPC & Tacho Card.
- No more than 6 points on your Licence with no DD/ DR Code convictions.
- Understand and able to comply with Drivers hours and WTD legislation.
- Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly.
- Should comply with on-site health and safety requirements.
- Excellent communication skills.
