Job Summary

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Shropshire to assist with the appointment of a Driver on a 6-month contract likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Summary:

The Driver role involves providing safe and reliable transport services for students attending a specialist school. The post operates on a split-shift basis during term time supporting morning and afternoon transport routes. Candidates must live locally due to the nature of split shifts.

Responsibilities:

Safely transport students to and from Severndale Specialist School
Follow allocated routes and schedules as provided on a weekly rota
Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any issues promptly
Ensure the safety and wellbeing of passengers at all times
Adhere to all road safety regulations and local authority policies

Essentials:

Full UK Driving Licence
Flexibility as start and finish times vary depending on route distance
Willingness to work from a rota issued weekly (every Friday for the following week)
Must be located within 15 miles of SY3 due to split shifts

You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
You should have right to work in U.K
This role requires an Enhanced DBS
