We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Telephone Business Development Manager to join our growing team in Glasgow United this pivotal role you will be responsible for driving business growth through proactive telephone-based sales and client relationship management.
- Develop and implement effective telephone-based sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling and lead generation
- Nurture and expand relationships with existing clients to maximise revenue potential
- Conduct thorough needs analyses to understand client requirements and propose tailored solutions
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery of products or services
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system
- Forecast sales pipeline and provide regular reports on performance metrics
- Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of sales processes
Qualifications :
- Proven track record of success in telephone sales or business development roles
- Excellent verbal communication and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets consistently
- Proficiency in using CRM software and sales forecasting tools
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise effectively
- Expertise in cold calling and lead generation techniques
- Experience in managing and nurturing client relationships
- Relevant sales or business development certifications (preferred)
- In-depth knowledge of industry trends and B2B sales processes
- Resilient and self-motivated with a results-oriented approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
