Role Purpose
Diagnose faults on customer machines returned for servicing
Repair electrical and electronic issues in products to the highest quality
Collaborate on R&D activities for new product ranges
Main Responsibilities
Analyse and repair welding equipment in line with technical specifications
Ensure rapid turnaround of repairs to meet customer SLA targets
Report recurring faults generational design changes and trends to the Team Lead (TL) and Managing Director (MD)
Inspect and evaluate prototype or sample machines providing detailed feedback to TL & MD
Identify failure patterns pinpoint weak components and recommend alternative parts or design improvements
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience
Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent technical qualification
Proven experience troubleshooting and repairing power electronics PCBs and industrial machines
Strong fault-finding skills using oscilloscopes multimeters and schematic diagrams
Familiarity with inverter drives control boards and welding power supplies
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
Clear communication skills for reporting complex technical issues
