Job Description
Duties:
Power BI Development
- Design and develop interactive user-friendly dashboards and reports in Power BI
- Build effective data models using DAX and Power Query
- Maintain version control and documentation of dashboards
- Maintain / Troubleshoot existing Power BI reports/dashboards and making necessary arrangements for data refresh as per required frequencies.
SQL & Data Handling
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction transformation and validation
- Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and integrity
- Collaborate with IT/data engineering teams for data availability and access
Stakeholder Engagement
- Work with the Analytics Lead and functional SPOCs to understand reporting requirements
- Translate business needs into technical reporting solutions
- Ensure timely delivery of assigned tasks within sprints or project timelines
Documentation & Standards
- Maintain documentation for all dashboards and data flows
- Follow standardized reporting practices and visual design guidelines
Contribute to the teams knowledge base and reusability of templates

- Possess excellent organizational communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to multitask and manage a wide range of activities.

- The ability to make good judgments by thinking quickly and broadly.
- Must be organized and systematic.
Qualifications :
Technical Knowledge and Skills:
Must Have:
- Bachelors degree in computer science Data Analytics Engineering Mathematics or a related field
- 24 years of hands-on experience in Power BI development
- Strong proficiency in SQL (joins subqueries CTEs performance tuning)
- Familiarity with DAX Power Query and data modelling principles
- Strong understanding of data visualization concepts
- Good understanding of relational databases data cleaning and transformation techniques
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision
- Language skills in English required.
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with data warehouse concepts
- Exposure to ERP systems like SAP Salesforce or other enterprise systems is preferred.
- Power BI certifications are a plus.
- Hands on experience of creating Power Automate workflows would be a plus.
