Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain lathe shaper grinding and polishing machines to manufacture precision components
Read and interpret mechanical drawings blueprints and job specifications
Use measuring instruments such as micrometers vernier calipers and dial indicators to ensure parts meet precise tolerances
Perform routine maintenance on machines and ensure proper setup before operation
Finish and polish parts to meet surface finish and dimensional standards
Troubleshoot and resolve machining or measurement issues during production
Maintain clean and organized work area and follow safety protocols

Requirements:

Proven experience as a machinist or machine operator
Ability to accurately use micrometers vernier calipers and other measuring tools
Experience working with lathe shaper grinder and polishing machines
Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions
Strong attention to detail and quality standards

Preferred:

Vocational or technical training in machining or mechanical trades
Understanding of machining symbols and tolerances

ITI
Work Experience: 0 3 Years

Operate and set up conventional and/or CNC machines (lathe, milling, grinding, drilling, etc.). ITI - Machinist
