Job Description

Business Development: Technical and Commercial Support

Solar PV & BESS - C&I and Utility scale.

Retrofit: Operating Solar PV projects.

Geography: MEA


RESPONSIBILITIES


Support: Identify new market opportunities and contribute to the overall growth strategy for solar PV projects.

Evaluate the technical feasibility of solar projects including site assessment system design and technology selection to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Develop and analyze financial models to assess project economics profitability and return on investment (ROI) ensuring projects are commercially viable.

Conduct market research to understand industry trends competitive landscapes equipment cost and regulatory environments that impact solar projects.

Assist in the preparation of technical and commercial proposals providing data and insights to support winning bids and securing new contracts.

Identify and evaluate potential technical and commercial risks associated with solar projects & propose mitigation strategies.


QUALIFICATION & Skills


Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Proven track record in Solar PV and BESS techno-commercial support.

Strong analytical skills for market analysis and strategy development.

Ability to multi-task and manage numerous opportunities simultaneously.

Africa experience is a plus.

Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks.

Mobile and ready to travel.

Must be able to learn understand and apply new technologies.

Time management and people management skills will be valuable.

Understanding of photovoltaic (PV) systems inverter technologies energy storage solutions

and site-specific considerations.

Proficiency in financial analysis project finance risk management costing and contract negotiation.

Ability to interpret technical data market trends and financial information to make informed decisions.

Effective in presenting technical and financial information to stakeholders including clients engineers and management.
