Job Summary

Our client a respected name in the automotive retail industry is seeking an experienced and dynamic Customer Relations Manager (CRM) to lead the after-sales and service team at their dealership in Johannesburg.

This is an excellent opportunity for a high-performing individual with leadership experience in the automotive sector who is driven by customer satisfaction team management and business growth.

Location: Johannesburg

Salary: R20000 R28000 Basic Commission & Incentives

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proven experience in the automotive industry preferably in after-sales or service operations
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a team of Service Advisors
  • Experience with customer bookings service delivery and client retention strategies
  • Ability to upsell service plans extended warranties and value-added products
  • Skilled in handling customer complaints queries and escalations professionally
  • Understanding of dealership operations and interdepartmental coordination (Sales Parts Service)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; brand-focused mindset
  • Ability to delegate tasks effectively and manage service workflows
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills; experience monitoring KPIs and driving improvements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead mentor and manage a team of Service Advisors

  • Drive and optimise customer bookings service excellence and client retention

  • Coordinate processes and communication between Service Parts and Sales departments

  • Upsell service plans extended warranties and value-added products

  • Manage customer complaints follow-ups and escalations to resolution

  • Maintain brand standards and act as a Brand Ambassador

  • Ensure efficient workflow and task delegation across the service team

  • Monitor key service metrics and implement continuous improvements


Ideal Candidate Profile: ONLY AUTOMOTIVE EXPERIENCED CANDIDATES WILL BE CONTACTED

Minimum 5 years experience in a same role as CRM in the motor industry

  • Strong interpersonal leadership and conflict-resolution skills

  • Proven success in upselling products and managing service targets

  • Ability to manage and streamline multi-department processes

  • Tech-savvy with working knowledge of DMS and booking systems

  • Professional customer-focused and results-driven
