Used Vehicle Buyer Passenger Cars
Location: Roodepoort
Our client a well-established used car dealership in Roodepoort is looking for an experienced Vehicle Buyer specializing in passenger cars. If you have a keen eye for quality vehicles strong negotiation skills and a deep understanding of the used car market this is the perfect opportunity for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and procure used passenger vehicles from auctions trade-ins and direct purchases.
- Analyze market trends to ensure a strategic and profitable inventory selection.
- Negotiate competitive pricing and terms with suppliers to maximize profitability.
- Build and maintain relationships with dealerships suppliers and private sellers.
- Work closely with sales and inventory teams to ensure an optimal vehicle mix.
- Conduct quality assessments to ensure all purchases meet dealership standards.
- Monitor inventory performance and adjust sourcing strategies accordingly.
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in sourcing and buying used passenger vehicles.
- Strong knowledge of the pre-owned car market pricing and demand trends.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to accurately assess vehicle quality and resale potential.
- Highly organized detail-oriented and analytical.
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel for sourcing.
