Job Summary
The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is expected to operate autonomously within a designated 10-bed area of the emergency department.
Attending physicians will be available 24 hours a day to review cases provide evaluations offer guidance or answer any inquiries as necessary.
**Qualifications:**
- Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is **mandatory**.
- Inclusion of the address at the time of presentation is **mandatory**.- The provider must reside locally; no exceptions will be permitted.
- A clean background is required for expedited credentialing; **this is non-negotiable**.- Availability must be provided based on the specified dates; **this is essential**.
- Verbal confirmation of DEA registration is required upon a clean name verification.
- A Michigan State License must be obtained at the time of clearance; no exceptions will be entertained as IMLC applications are not accepted.
- ACLS and ATLS certifications are **mandatory**.
- The applicant must possess a minimum of two years of recent experience in the emergency department.
