We are currently seeking experienced MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Anesthesiology. As a vital member of our medical team you will play a crucial role in providing anesthesia services for various surgical procedures. This position offers the opportunity to work on challenging cases collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and make a significant impact on patient outcomes.
As an Anesthesiologist you will be involved in a wide range of projects from administering anesthesia and monitoring patient vital signs during surgery to managing pain relief post-operatively. This role requires a high level of expertise precision and compassion to ensure the safety and comfort of patients throughout their surgical experience. Responsibilities:
- Administer various types of anesthesia before during and after surgical procedures.
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs throughout the anesthesia process.
- Evaluate patients preoperatively to determine the appropriate anesthesia plan.
- Collaborate with surgeons nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Manage and treat post-operative pain to promote patient comfort and recovery.
- Respond to emergency situations and provide critical care as needed.
- Stay updated on advancements in anesthesia techniques and technologies.
- Document patient care accurately and maintain medical records.
Requirements:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Anesthesiology.
- Valid state medical license to practice Anesthesiology.
- Demonstrated experience in providing anesthesia services in a clinical setting.
- Strong knowledge of anesthesia drugs techniques and equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and make quick decisions.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7a-3:30p
1:5 backup call rotation CRNAs take first call
Cases: General surgery thoracic vascular OB/maternity ENT ophthalmology ortho urology minimal peds
No heads hearts or spines
Medically-directed overseeing 4 CRNAs
Must be board-certified
