Why this role
As an Associate Solutions Engineer you will work under the supervision of a more experienced engineer or manager to learn the fundamentals of the role and our products. Youll join a collaborative forward-thinking team and help drive our mission to embed security into every part of the AI-native development lifecycle. This is a launching point for you to understand how to build excellent software and support our customers.
What Youll Do:
Work closely with our sales team to help them understand Snyks products during the sales process.
Understand the basics of a customers environment and Snyks products.
Interface with our internal teams such as engineering product and customer success to understand and help address customer issues.
Learn about the maturity matrix at a conceptual level and how it contributes to the overall business strategy.
Gain hands-on experience by performing well-defined engineering tasks like coding testing and fixing bugs.
What You Bring:
Strong understanding of basic workflows and best practices in the developer and DevOps ecosystems.
Curiosity initiative and a bias for action.
Ability to understand a customers environment.
Good written and spoken communication skills.
A team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and seek feedback.

Have hands-on experience with AI/LLMs or modern security tools.
Contribute to open-source or developer communities.
Love solving complex problems with a collaborative team.
Have a sense of humour we take our mission seriously but not ourselves!
