Job Summary
Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed shop drawings for steel structures using CAD software.
- Review architectural and engineering drawings to identify and resolve design conflicts.
- Ensure accurate and precise detailing of steel components and connections.
- Coordinate with project teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely completion of shop drawings.
- Generate bills of materials for steel fabrication and construction.
- Assist in the preparation of fabrication and erection plans.
- Follow industry standards and regulations for steel detailing.
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to optimize designs for fabrication and installation.
- Maintain documentation and records of steel detailing activities.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in steel detailing.
- Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD or Tekla).
- Good understanding of steel structures and fabrication processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well independently and within a team.
