Summary:
The Help Desk Specialist I provides support to the SEC Facilities Branch by monitoring and responding to Facilities Help Desk emails and phone calls (MF 7:00am6:00pm excluding Federal Holidays). This role ensures timely high-quality service to staff and assists with facilities space management and move coordination activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to Facilities Help Desk requests within 15 minutes.
- Track update and close work orders; maintain department files.
- Assist with planning and coordinating office moves and relocations.
- Support furniture installation removal and reconfiguration.
- Communicate with vendors contractors and SEC teams to resolve issues.
- Provide reports on open/closed work orders and project status.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple requests in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with work order systems email platforms and MS Office.
- Knowledge of facilities moves or furniture coordination a plus.
