If so Extension and Outreach with Iowa State University is seeking applicants for a Graphic Designer II to join the Integrated Pest Management team!
What Youll Do:
Design and develop compelling visual content primarily using Adobe Creative Suite with a focus on crop protection and integrated pest management.
Create and lay out publicationsfor Extension programs ensuring clarity accessibility and visual appeal for agricultural audiences.
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendorsto plan execute and deliver multi-format design projects that align with strategic goals.
Coordinate branding effortsacross multistate initiatives ensuring consistency and stakeholder engagement through effective brand strategy and marketing collateral.
Support grant developmentby contributing to proposal design and visual storytelling as a co-PI helping secure funding for impactful projects.
Mentor student workers fostering their growth while ensuring high-quality contributions to design projects.
Consult on marketing strategies using your design expertise to enhance visibility and engagement across platforms.
Contribute to promotional product development including apparel and merchandise that represent the programs mission.
This is a one year fixed-term position with the opportunity for renewal.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship. Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.
About Integrated Pest Management at Iowa State University:
The Iowa State University Integrated Pest Management (ISU IPM) team serves the university external stakeholders and the people of Iowa by coordinating and supporting IPM activities at ISU seeking innovative ways to train and educate about IPM principles and practices and maintaining IPM activities valued by our stakeholders.Our overall goal is to provide sciencebased IPM information to Iowans to increase productivity and economic competitiveness while reducing human health risk and protecting the environment from the adverse impacts of unnecessary or inappropriate pest management strategies.
