is growing quickly and were looking for analysts to help accelerate our growth. This role will be responsible for building out the data and reporting ecosystem Sales will use to assess and drive sales performance.

You will work with a diverse range of stakeholders to design build maintain and improve Sales data and business intelligence reporting products.

This position is located in Richmond VA and is in office Monday through Thursday and work from home on Friday.

Responsibilities

• Collect and understand business requirements from a diverse set of end users
• Analyze data structures integrate rationalize transform and optimize them for use in sales strategy analysis and business intelligence reporting
• Develop automated scripts using SQL and other platforms to transform raw source data into informational datasets for use by analysts and reporting tools
• Identify data accuracy and consistency opportunities and work with Technology and Sales partners to improve data capture and execute improvements
• Develop easily usable dashboards and reports for end-users in tools beyond spreadsheets
• Provide training on business intelligence tools to diverse sets of users
• Monitor business intelligence solutions to ensure they are running smoothly and troubleshoot any issues that arise
• Collect and integrate feedback from a diverse user base to continuously improve reporting

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree required from an accredited not for profit university or college with degree preferably in Data Science Data Analytics Computer Science or related quantitative field
• A track record of commitment to prior employers
• 5 years of experience in data analytics or data science
• 5 years of experience writing SQL queries and building business intelligence solutions like Tableau or PowerBI

Preferred Qualifications

• Expertise in at least one BI tool (MS PowerBI preferred)
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL
• Proficiency in data modeling techniques
• Experience in query optimization performance tuning and process automation.
• Able to prioritize effectively and balance multiple concurrent projects
• Ability to communicate with business as well as technical teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
