Job Overview
This is a full-time Plant Operator position based in Sanand suitable for freshers with a maximum of 3 years of work experience. The role is ideal for individuals eager to launch their careers in manufacturing and plant operations particularly in water treatment and related chemical processes at a reputable and experienced company.
Qualifications and Skills
- Plant Operations (Mandatory skill): Hands-on experience or strong knowledge of plant operational procedures in a manufacturing environment relevant to chemical or resin production.
- Water Treatment: Understanding of basic water and wastewater treatment processes for efficient plant functioning and compliance with industry standards.
- Equipment Maintenance: Aptitude for routine checks preventive maintenance and minor repair tasks on plant machinery to reduce downtime.
- Process Monitoring: Ability to monitor plant parameters interpret readings and ensure all processes follow established specifications and safety protocols.
- Troubleshooting: Capability to identify analyze and resolve routine operational or process issues efficiently to maintain productivity.
- Standard Operating Procedures: Familiarity with preparing understanding and executing standard operating procedures to ensure consistent and safe operations.
- Attention to Safety: Commitment to adhering to workplace safety guidelines and protocols with a proactive approach to risk identification and mitigation.
- Communication Skills: Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with team members supervisors and other stakeholders.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor plant equipment including start-up shutdown and routine process checks to ensure stable and efficient operations.
- Follow standard operating procedures and maintain detailed operational records for quality control and compliance.
- Conduct regular inspections on plant equipment identify maintenance needs and coordinate with maintenance teams for timely repairs.
- Monitor water treatment processes and adjust parameters as necessary to meet production and safety objectives.
- Perform troubleshooting of equipment or process issues escalating complex matters to supervisors when required.
- Assist in maintaining a clean organized and safe working environment by following all safety and environmental regulations.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives offering feedback to improve operational efficiency and product quality.
- Support team members and actively participate in training sessions for skill development and process enhancements.
