Job Summary
The Athens City School District has an opening Supervisor of Building and GroundsApplication/Detailed Job Description Available: September 19 2025Application Deadline: Noon October 3rd 2025Starting Date: October 20th 2025Job Objective: Coordinate and facilitate the delivery of maintenance and custodial services forthe school district. Manage budgeted financial resources to provide cost-effective quality and comply with all Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations and otherenvironmental issues compliance Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent. Technical/Trade school training is preferred. Achievement of a satisfactory pre-employment/appointment test score if required. Apprentice training journeymans card license and/or certification in a trade is desirable. Meet all current health requirements including a negative tuberculosis test. Evidence of a clear record as determined by the Bureau of Criminal Identification andInvestigation and/or Federal Bureau of Investigation. Valid drivers license. Evidence of organizational and supervisory skills. Custodial and maintenance work experience. Proficiency in boiler and HVAC operations. Proficiency in electrical carpentry plumbing and mechanical repairs. Hold or qualify to obtain a public operators license for pest control. Ability to interpret and comply with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OHSA)Public Employer Risk Reduction Act (PERRA) regulations and negotiated agreements. Knowledge of schematic diagrams and blueprints. Knowledge of computerized control Workdays: 260Salary Range: Competitive
