Radiology Assistant- Full-time

Position Highlights:

Nebraska Medicine is now taking applications for a talented individual to join us as a Radiology Assistant for our Nuclear Med Unit. This role will be great for someone that has a passion for radiology and great customer service for our patients we serve.

Shift Details:

  • Location: Main Campus Omaha Nebraska

  • First Shift / Full-Time / Benefits Eligible

  • Monday - Friday (Day hours)

Radiology Assistant Duties:

Provide patient care and departmental clinical duties to facilitate excellent service to the patients referring physicians radiologists and staff technologists.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school education or equivalent required.

  • Organizational skills required.

  • Strong people and communication skills required.

  • Effective phone communication required.

  • Proficient knowledge of the use of patient care equipment/supplies required.

  • Ability to multitask required.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior working experience with customers or patients preferred.

  • Prior experience in a hospital setting preferred.

  • Proficient knowledge of computers preferred.

  • Ability to handle stressful situations preferred.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon completion of unit orientation preferred must be from an American Heart Association (AHA) endorsed program (effective for new hires starting January 1 2023 or later).

  • CNA or equivalent experience preferred.
