Job Description

Job Title: Digital Content & Paid Media Executive

Reporting To: Head of Digital Marketing

Location: Remote (Ireland) with a requirement to attend the office (Dublin 2) for meetings/training as required

Contract duration: Permanent contract

Hours of Work: Monday - Friday 39 hours a week

Remuneration: 35000 - 40000 per annum

Benefits: 25 days annual leave (exclusive of public holidays) financial support for further education two days positive mental

health leave annually and access to the four-day working weekprogramme.

About the role:

This is a hybrid role that combines content creation with support across paid media and digital advertising. As the Content Creator & Paid Media Assistant you will be responsible for producing engaging digital content across our platforms while also assisting in the planning execution and reporting of our paid campaigns. You will work closely with the Digital Marketing and Content teams to help bring our campaigns to life and ensure they reach young people across Ireland in meaningful and accessible ways. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and digitally-minded individual who is passionate about youth engagement social media and the impact of accessible information and support.


The ideal candidate is a digital marketing professional with experience in creating content and an interest in the relationship between content and paid social media campaigns and Google Ads. You will be a fast learner eager to work as part of a team as well as independently and have a passion for best-in-class digital marketing in the not-for-profit sector. Youll work closely with the Digital Marketing team to support the delivery of our digital strategy across platforms with a focus on creating engaging multimedia content and assisting with digital advertising efforts.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Duties and responsibilities include:

Content Creation

  • Create visual and written content for social media platforms including TikTok Instagram and YouTube
  • Assist in the planning and execution of digital campaigns that support spunouts mission
  • Collaborate with the Digital Content Team to create assets that are audience-appropriate and platform-optimised
  • Edit and repurpose video photo and audio content for multiplatform use
  • Ensure all content aligns with spunouts brand tone and youth-centred guidelines
  • Comfortable on camera
  • Experienced in UGC content creation.


Paid Media Support

  • Support the setup monitoring and optimisation of paid social campaigns (Meta Ads Manager TikTok Ads YouTube)
  • Assist with the management of the Google Ads Grant account
  • Collaborate with the Digital Marketing and Content teams to build ad campaigns aligned with strategic goals
  • Monitor ad performance and contribute to reporting insights for campaign effectiveness

Digital & Team Support

  • Use the project management tool Notion to track tasks and deadlines
  • Stay informed about digital trends and audience behaviours especially across youth platforms
  • Report to the Head of Digital Marketing on key performance insights and areas for improvement



Search Engine Optimisation

  • Assist with basic SEO tasks including keyword research image optimisation and link strategies
  • Use tools like Google Analytics Google Search Console and other SEO platforms to support visibility goals
  • Work with the content team to ensure digital assets are search-optimised


Requirements


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience or interest in setting up and monitoring ads for social media
  • A qualification in digital marketing multimedia communications or equivalent experience
  • At least one year of relevant experience in content creation or digital marketing
  • Experience with social media ads and Google Ads (certifications are a bonus)
  • Proficiency in video and/or graphic editing tools (e.g. Canva CapCut Adobe tools etc.)
  • Experience in the not-for-profit sector is a plus
