Job Description
THE COMPANY
ROWE Professional Services Company is an employee-owned full-service professional consulting firm specializing in civil engineering surveying aerial photography/mapping LiDAR landscape architecture planning and land development.
At ROWE our core values include safety quality people service and growth. We are seeking Surveying Interns to join our proactive team of ethical talented passionate professionals and leaders for our 2026 summer internship program.
POSITION SUMMARY
ROWE is currently looking for Surveying Interns for all our Michigan and South Carolina offices. We have opportunities to work with conventional surveying and photogrammetry tools and software as well as stationary mobile and UAV LiDAR systems and software. Interns will work under the supervision of a Project Surveyor Crew Chief or Project Manager. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist in field data collection and construction layout of various projects.
- Assist in completing various surveying tasks.
- Must be willing to work outdoors on project sites as needed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
We are seeking forward-thinking safety-conscious and energetic individuals who are excited to work on both small-scale and large-scale projects. Qualifications include:
- Must be pursuing an associates bachelors or masters degree in surveying civil engineering or a related field.
- Prior experience with field surveying AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation is a plus.
- Availability to work full-time during the internship.
- Ability to interact well with coworkers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail excellent analytical/judgement capabilities.
- Ability to work independently or on a team.
