Job Summary
RRD is seeking an energetic enthusiastic & motivated student to join our team in St. Charles IL next Summer as a Network Engineer Intern!
***THIS IS A HYBRID POSITION***
Job Summary

Responsibilities:
- Standardize consistently the SNMP configurations to RRDs standard/best practices access mechanism
- Audit network devices remote access capability and convert any Telnet to SSH.
- Assist in the implementation of solutions following IT standards and senior engineer designs for corporate WAN/LAN implementation throughout the US and Canada.
- Execute/perform configuration changes and coordinate installations with senior engineers site contacts and vendors.
- Configuring basic Cisco routers and switches
- Must be available during the whole summer term
Qualifications :
- The intern candidate should be a full-time student at an accredited college or university pursuing a Bachelor or higher degree in IT or engineering related field.
- Must have a good working knowledge of Windows Office and Visio.
- Some basic networking background
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Good interpersonal and team skills.
- Positive attitude and outstanding customer service orientation.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
Plus:
- Took few networking and security classes in colleges or university.
Additional Information :
The rate of pay for this role at the noted location is $24.00 / addition to base pay depending on the role the total compensation package may also include overtime shift differential call-in and stand-by pay.
