- Shift Hours:Sunday to Thursday 10:00 p.m.- 6:00 a.m.
- Compensation: $29.00/hr
- Shift Premium:$1.00/hr
The Opportunity:
We are currently looking for one (1) full-timeCLASS 1 COMPANY DRIVERto join our fast-paced team at our Port Coquitlam Branch. This role is responsible for:
- Local LTL delivery within Vancouver (160km Radius around the city)
- Service from Hope to Whistler
- Flexibility to work various shifts
- Offloading to customers required
- Circle check of tractor trailer and pre/post-trip report
- Complete PODs and driver run sheets
- Deliver loads to customers in a timely manner
- Capably operate a variety of equipment- Single Axle Tandem Axle 5 ton trucks
What you need to be successful in the role:
- Class 1 Manual license only -- Automatic licensed drivers need not to apply
- Clean drivers abstract
- Criminal record check must be submitted if hired
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- Adherent to company policies regarding health and safety drug and alcohol
- Minimum 2 years validated experience working in a class 1 environment
