Job Summary
*ESSA minimum qualification requirements:
- Possesses a high school diploma or equivalent AND
- Possess either:
- An Associates (or higher) degree; OR
- 48 credit hours completed at an Institution of High Education; OR
- Scored 464 or higher on the ParaPro Test
**NAEYC educational qualification requirements:
- Possesses 12 college credits in certain early childhood/elementary education courses OR holds a CDA credential from the Council for Professional Recognition AND
- Completed one of the following:
- An Associates (or higher) degree in early childhood education or certain related fields; OR
- Possesses an Associates (or higher) degree in another area AND has worked or 3 years in a NAEYC-Accredited program OR
- Possess an Associates degree (or higher degree) in another area AND has worked for 3years in a non-NAEYC Accredited program AND had at least 30 contact hours of relevant training during the past three years.
