This Position reports to:

ELSB/ELSB Marketing & Sales Manager


Your role and responsibilities

In this role you will have the opportunity to define and implement sales and marketing strategies for the Smart Building & Smart Power Divisions in Mexico. Each day you will manage the marketing and sales action plans to achieve the key qualitative and quantitative targets in a profitable way and to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by proactively leading developing and coaching the Marketing and Sales function.


The work model for the role is: #L-Hybrid

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Creating planning and implementing the marketing and sales mission vision and strategy along with the budget and efficiency targets for Smart Building & Smart Power. Establishing appropriate metrics and measurement tools to monitor performance of the set targets and supporting the organization to achieve them.

  • Leading the definition of the assigned divisions and area footprint (market presence execution standards and delivery model). Overseeing market competitive analysis and market segment definition activities. Driving evaluation of potential new and existing markets and their needs and ensuring proactive sales approach with a focus on solutions.

  • Partnering with the division business line leadership and collaboarting with the marketing sales leadership of other ABB divisions to maximize business growth and deliver unbeatable customer experience for our partners.

  • Developing and coaching a high performing and engaged organization.

Qualifications for the role

  • Knowledge in electrification industry.

  • You have extensive experience in the field of marketing & sales 7 years of experience

  • You demonstrate entrepreneurial mindset you continuously look for new approaches and new market opportunities

  • You are an adaptive leader with strong customer focus and continuous learning mindset

  • You aquired experience in mobilizing diverse employee and customer groups for change initiatives

  • You are at ease communicating in Spanish and English
