The Role

Were looking for a Global IT Systems Engineer with expertise in Windows/macOS support Microsoft 365 Azure Entra ID and CCNA-level networking who thrives in fast-paced startup environments.

This role requires a proactive problem-solver who can support our rapidly growing global workforce while also driving improvements in IT operations through automation and process efficiency.

In this role you will support a distributed team of 30 employees worldwide while also owning local IT infrastructure in Bangalore including Wi-Fi networking and datacentre servers. Youll work closely with the Director of Cyber & AI Security on IT security and systems projects as we scale.

What Youll Do

Global IT Support

• Provide IT support for Windows macOS mobile devices and Linux platforms.
• Triage and resolve tickets in JIRA documenting fixes and building knowledge base content.

Systems Administration

• Manage and administer Microsoft 365 (Teams Exchange SharePoint OneDrive).
• Administer Azure Entra ID (user lifecycle security groups access policies).

Onboarding & User Lifecycle

• Deliver smooth new joiner onboarding: provisioning laptops MDM setup account creation.
• Manage SaaS accounts across Slack JIRA Google Workspace Auth0.

Infrastructure & Networking

• Provide on-site support in Bangalore for Wi-Fi LAN and office infrastructure.
• Assist in building and maintaining racked servers in the Bangalore datacentre.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify areas for IT improvement automation or SSO integration.
• Lead implementation of technical solutions to improve global IT operations.

Must Have

• Expert level IT support and systems administration experience in startup/scale-up environments.
• Strong experience supporting Windows Linux and macOS endpoints.
• Hands-on Microsoft 365 administration.
• Experience with Azure Entra ID for identity and access management.
• Networking knowledge at CCNA level (TCP/IP VLANs LAN/WAN Wi-Fi).
• Experience with SaaS tools: Slack JIRA Google Workspace Auth0.
• Fluent English communication skills (written and verbal).
• Strong documentation and process discipline (ticketing SOPs playbooks).

Optional: Nice to Have

• Experience managing racked servers and datacentre hardware.
• Scripting/automation ability (PowerShell Bash or Python).
• Familiarity with endpoint security tools (EDR antivirus MDM).
• Previous collaboration with cybersecurity and compliance teams.

How is success measured

• Resolution of global IT tickets within agreed SLA.
• Seamless onboarding of new joiners with zero critical issues.
• Reduction of recurring IT issues via automation or process improvements.
• Expansion of SSO integrations across SaaS applications.
• Demonstrated ability to scale IT operations effectively as the company grows.
• Contribution to maintaining ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 compliance through strong IT controls documentation and audit readiness.

Who you will be working with

• You will report directly to the Director of Cyber & AI Security (UK-based) collaborating on IT operations security and compliance initiatives.
• You will support a rapidly growing global workforce (30 employees and expanding) across multiple regions.
• You will work closely with local Bangalore colleagues providing onsite IT support and infrastructure assistance.
• You will partner with cybersecurity stakeholders to strengthen IT controls and maintain ISO 9001 / ISO 27001 compliance.
• You will collaborate with engineering and business teams to ensure secure seamless access to critical SaaS and infrastructure systems.
