This Position reports to:
Supply Chain Manager - Drive ProductsAs an intern you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience through various projects. Each day you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your skills by supporting ABBs operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.
The work model for the role is onsite in New Berlin Wisconsin.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Contribute to strategic sourcing initiatives by gaining hands-on experience in Category Management supplier negotiation and material flow optimization for new facilities and processes.
Evaluate and recommend next-generation solutions aligned with financial and operational goals supporting ABBs evolving business needs.
Develop and implement audit processes to ensure accuracy in material tracking and financial reporting.
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external suppliers to drive project execution meet timelines and deliver results that align with customer expectations.
Participate actively in team meetings and brainstorming sessions while continuously seeking feedback to enhance performance and professional development.
Qualifications for the role:
Currently enrolled in a bachelors degree program in Engineering Supply Chain or another relevant degree in the United States.
Intern must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorshipnow and in the future.
Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions.
Effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Exhibit the capability to manage several tasks at once while maintaining high standards of quality.
Collaborate with team members to convey ideas share information and provide updates on project progress.

The hourly rate is determined by things such as the successful applicants qualifications graduation year and experience. This position is expected to pay between $20 - $34 per hour.
