Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant

Schedule: Days 5 shifts/week 32 hours

Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a rehabilitation team on a contract basis. The PTA will support physical therapists in delivering high-quality care guiding patients through treatment plans and assisting in their recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities
Answer patient calls and schedule therapy appointments.
Prepare and sanitize therapy areas and equipment.
Assist with patient transfers and mobility support.
Monitor patients during therapy sessions.
Massage and stretch muscles as directed by the supervising therapist.
Guide patients through prescribed therapeutic exercises.
Provide education to patients and families regarding post-therapy care.
Qualifications
Minimum 1 years of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Active Arizona State PTA License.
BLS/CPR certification preferred.
Strong interpersonal communication and patient-care skills.
