Job Summary
Hiring Opportunity: Canton OH
Our client is looking for a Tool and Die Maker to join their first shift team! Our client is a leading manufacture in the area and has been in business for over 75 years!
The Tool and Die Maker will be responsible for Designing building repairing and maintain tools dies and molds used in manufacturing operations
Qualified Applications would have experience in machining fabrication with an expertise in creating precision tools and dies for various applications.
Job Responsibilities:
* Design build repair and maintain precision tools dies and molds used in manufacturing operations.
* Metal stamping dies progressive dies or plastic injection molds and a strong background in machining blueprint reading and quality control.
* Interpret technical drawings blueprints and CAD designs to construct or modify dies.
* Operate machines such as lathes mills grinders and CNC equipment.
* Assemble and test dies to ensure proper function and output quality.
* Perform maintenance repairs and adjustments on existing dies.
* Troubleshoot die performance issues during production runs.
* Maintain accurate documentation and comply with safety and quality standards.
Job Qualifications:
* Minimum of 5 years of experience.
* Proficiency in CAM programming and CNC programming is essential.
* Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.
* Familiarity with manufacturing processes including tooling machining assembly and fabrication.
* Ability to read schematics and technical drawings effectively.
* Strong math skills for precise measurements and calculations using precision measuring instruments.
