Job Description
A fast-growing professional services firm seeks a Chief Financial Officer to lead their dynamic team. The person best suited for this role will possess an innovative mindset with a solid track record of scaling companies and ensuring revenue growth while running the overall financial management of the company.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic partner and provide financial and strategic support to the President to support the companys long-term financial growth
- Drive profitable growth through analysis influencing and action on risk assessment contracting excellence pricing business ventures customer profitability and cost control
- Have full P&L balance sheet and Working Capital responsibility
- Develop successful relationships with the companys Partners and senior management team finance team external auditors and vendors
- Ensure smooth functioning of the day-to-day operations of the companys finance function and provide leadership and supervision to the finance team including internal controls and cash management
- Prepare financial projections/target for annual operating budgets updating financial forecasts throughout the year
- Find and analyze potential acquisition targets to strengthen the companys financial position and growth target
- Negotiate management services agreements with existing and new clients
Qualifications
- BA/BS Degree in Finance or in a related field. CPA or MBA preferred
- 10 years of financial leadership experience
- 5 years of senior management experience within high growth mid-sized companies preferably in professional services
- Significant operational business experience
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
- Strong analytical and FP&A skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to deliver in complex situations
- Entrepreneurial agile resilient mindset
- Ability to build and structure a financial team through various stages of growth
