This is a contingent position based upon contract award

This role is within KBRs National Security Solutions division. National Security Solutions delivers full life cycle professional and technical solutions that improve operational readiness and drive innovation. Our solutions help ensure mission success on land air sea space and cyberspace for the Department of Defense Intelligence Community NASA and other federal agencies. KBRs areas of expertise include engineering logistics operations science program management mission IT and cybersecurity.
Who You Are
KBR seeks a Program Manager who with broad autonomy will lead the administrative and operational facets of one or more government services projects determined by customer needs and contractual obligations. This role demands a professional who has honed their skills over at least a decade in a management capacity adept at navigating the complexities of project oversight and skilled at driving interdepartmental coordination to surpass review and approval benchmarks.
Requirements:
Active TS/SCI with Poly clearance
Bachelors Degree or higher in any discipline from an accredited college or university
PMP Certification
Five (5) years of Program Management experience leading large programs (over 50 FTE of direct labor contractor personnel)
Tasks include but are not limited to:
Fully coordinate and collaborate on all tasks activities requirements and issues as they pertain to the support of the Customer
Assist Staffing Manager in recruiting and maintaining staff who are properly trained experienced and cleared to meet high priority positions.
Participate in PMRs and project reviews as requested
Identify issues and adapt program plans according to the Customer feedback on program cost performance and risks.
Develop plans and schedules and define and document the implementation of requirements
Use established program management procedures to monitor cost and performance; assess variances of the plan and take necessary corrective action.
Identify potential downstream issues that may negatively affect meeting requirements and provide recommendations to mitigate negative impacts
Manage customer expectations with proactive consistent and transparent communication.
Ensure continuity of support with contractor and subcontractor personnel changes
Work in close collaboration with CO and COTR on Program
Serve as a primary point of contact for formal discussion with the customer including frequent customer interaction with the intent to sustain and improve customer satisfaction
Monitor cost control financial reports budgeting and overall operating costs
Improve cost-effectiveness and efficiency
